The wonderful and varied marine life around Langstone Harbour is protected by many internationally significant environmental designations.
The harbour is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and Special Protection Area (SPA) as well as a Special Area of Conservation (SAC) and Ramsar wetland of international importance.
